Our first stage will be The Royal Convent of Santa Clara in Tordesillas. This convent’s saddest association is with Joanna I Queen of Castile and Aragon known as Juana la loca (Joanna the mad), the daughter of Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon (Catholic Monarchs), who was confined here for almost half a century until her death in 1555.
“Bodegas de Fuensaldaña” will be our second stage, they are curious restaurants under the hills. Afterward, we will enter in the “Ribera del Duero“, where we can see a lot of vineyards. This is one of the best zones of wine production in Spain. There is an amazing Castle in Peñafiel.
At the return, we can see the monumental town of Cuellar, La Granja de San Ildefonso and Guadarrama’s Mountains.
